What the five vehicle prices tell you
The analyzed build lists a Push sweeper at $300, Ride-on sweeper at $1,000, Lunar sweeper at $2,500, Mega vacuum rover at $6,000 and Crew transport at $2,000. These are extracted garage offer prices before any unverified runtime adjustments.
The most expensive vehicle is not automatically the fastest way to finish your route. Consider travel time, cleaning, hopper capacity and unloading together; those are different parts of a work cycle and the static prices do not measure their combined real-world performance.
Why the same upgrade costs different amounts
The recovered price rule scales the upgrade’s base price with the vehicle purchase price, with the multiplier limited to 0.5× through 3×. The calculated level price is rounded to the nearest $10 using the game’s recovered rounding rule.
For example, Tuned Motors costs $130, $300 and $750 on the Push sweeper, compared with $630, $1,500 and $3,750 on the Lunar sweeper. Buying Lunar sweeper levels two and three after already owning level one is therefore $5,250 in base upgrade prices.
Pick the upgrade that changes the slow part
Tuned Motors and Turbo Kit concern movement. Big Hopper changes carrying capacity, while Quick Release affects unloading. If your route involves frequent short returns, carrying and unloading deserve attention; for a long journey, movement may be more relevant. These are comparisons to test, not a claim that one branch is always optimal.
Suction Control presents another tradeoff: the recovered settings include different cleaning-width and speed multipliers. Those settings alone do not prove the real net cleaning rate, and the levels that unlock each setting still need in-game verification.
Account for the garage and current levels
The extracted building definition gives the garage a $200 base price, separate from a vehicle’s listed purchase price. The calculator lets you include either cost, then select current and target levels for each applicable upgrade.
A target level below your current level adds no cost in the calculator. Switching vehicles resets the selected levels because prices and applicable upgrades differ. Hopper, suction and unload options are restricted to sweepers in the analyzed definitions.
A practical comparison
Record a representative route before purchasing: time to travel, time spent sweeping, time until unloading, and time spent returning or emptying. If possible, repeat the same route after the change. The best upgrade for your base is the one that improves the slowest part of that actual cycle enough to justify its cost.
Do not interpret a higher speed or wider cleaning setting as an automatic increase in money per hour. Terrain, turns, full hoppers, power and downstream delivery can change the outcome.
Frequently asked questions
How much does the Lunar sweeper cost?
The analyzed garage offer lists a $2,500 base price. The garage building and vehicle upgrades are separate costs.
Which vehicle upgrade is best?
The extracted data does not establish an overall winner. Compare movement, cleaning, capacity and unloading against the slowest part of your own route.
Are vehicle upgrades the same price on every vehicle?
No. The recovered price rule uses a vehicle-specific multiplier and rounds each level to the nearest $10.
