Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the independent Moon Sweepers Toolkit at moonsweepers.me handles information when you use our calculators, reference pages and guides. Questions or requests can be sent to support@moonsweepers.me.

Information you provide

The public calculators and guides do not require you to create an account. You enter machine counts, upgrade levels and other planning choices yourself; the site does not connect to your Steam account or read your game saves.

If optional account features are enabled and you choose to register, we may process your name, email address, password in hashed form, session information, IP address, approximate country and signup referral or campaign details. Public tools do not require an account. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send, including your email address and the contents of your message. Please do not include passwords, payment details or other sensitive information in a support request.

Saved plans and share links

The factory, upgrade and vehicle calculators can save your latest settings in your browser's local storage. The achievement checklist also stores your manual selections locally. This data remains in that browser unless you remove it or choose to share a plan; clearing site data will remove those saved settings.

When you use a calculator's share feature, the link contains a snapshot of the settings in its URL fragment. Anyone you give that link to can see and use those settings. The fragment is handled by the browser and is not normally sent to the website as part of an HTTP request, but it may be stored in browser history or accessible to software on the device. Do not put sensitive information in a plan or share link.

Website and device information

When you visit, the hosting and security providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, timestamps and referring website. This information is used to deliver and protect the site, diagnose problems and understand traffic. Hosting providers apply their own retention practices and privacy policies.

The site may also set first-party cookies containing referral or campaign information when you arrive from another website or follow a campaign link. These cookies can last up to 30 days. The site may use other functional cookies to remember settings, consent choices or an account session where those features are enabled. You can control or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings; doing so may reset saved choices.

Analytics and advertising

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site, including page interactions, heatmaps and session recordings. Clarity may process device, browser, usage and approximate location information and use analytics cookies. We load Clarity after you accept analytics cookies; you can change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. If you withdraw consent during a visit, Clarity receives a denied consent signal and may continue limited, cookieless measurement until that page is reloaded. Learn more in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

The website also supports optional services, including Google Analytics, Plausible and Google AdSense, when configured. If enabled, these providers may receive technical information about your browser and visit and may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies. Google may use information to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted.

Where required, we will provide choices about non-essential cookies and advertising. You can also review how Google uses information from sites that use its services and manage advertising settings through Google's ad settings. Availability of those choices can depend on your location and the services in use.

Sharing and security

We may share information with providers that host, protect, analyze or support the website, or when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety. Those providers may process information in countries other than yours. We use reasonable measures intended to protect information, but no website or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Retention and your choices

Saved plans and checklist selections remain in your browser until you remove them or your browser clears them. We retain support correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond and maintain records, subject to applicable requirements. Technical logs and third-party data may be retained under the relevant provider's practices.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent. Contact us at support@moonsweepers.me; we may need enough information to identify and respond to your request. You may also have the right to contact your local privacy regulator.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review the request.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the website or its services change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. For privacy questions, email support@moonsweepers.me.
