What the robot data describes

The analyzed J.O.O.N.A.S. robot prefab has a 60 kg onboard-capacity field and a 5.6 m cleaning-width field. The corresponding structure definition lists a $20,000 base price. Those fields are useful for comparisons, but no runtime cleaning or delivery rate has been measured.

Do not add the robot’s capacity to the catcher as though they were one container. The developer’s 1.0.4 announcement describes a 100 kg catcher; the relation between that patch and our local build commit has not been independently confirmed.

Check current behavior before using old advice

In the developer’s 1.0.4 notes, J.O.O.N.A.S. keeps cleaning without nearby players and launches capsules toward the nearest catcher without returning to a dock. Earlier player reports may describe behavior from before that change.

When it appears stuck, observe one complete cycle: current activity, bin indication, capsule launch, catcher state and the receiver’s downstream path. Document the version and save context; those checks do not establish a universal fix.

FIELD CHECK

If it isn’t working

  • Observe the unit and its catcher separately, then check the receiver output for congestion.
  • Do not assume an older off-screen bug is still present after the patch.
