Where the Solar post fits
The extracted Solar post has a 3 kW peak rating, no integrated battery capacity and a 16 m connection-range field. It is useful as a small rated source when planning, but a peak value does not describe generation at every sun angle.
For comparison, a pressure chamber has a 10 kW running rating. Four posts have 12 kW combined peak on paper; that alone does not establish uninterrupted power, correct connections or nighttime operation.
Solar post versus larger panels
The $75 Solar post has a 3 kW peak rating and no integrated battery field. The $150 Solar twin is rated at 7.5 kW peak with a 4 kWh battery field; the $300 Solar tracker is rated at 16 kW with a 10 kWh battery field. These are separate power and storage quantities from the analyzed build.
Compare the connected grid and sunlight in your save, not only the peak rating per dollar. The factory calculator does not model battery charge and discharge or guarantee connection placement.
