How to use the tracker rating in a plan
The extracted tracker has a 16 kW peak rating, a 10 kWh battery field and a 34 m connection-range field. Its definition says it tracks the sun, but the amount generated still depends on in-game conditions.
Three trackers have 48 kW of combined peak against the 46 kW running rating of a chamber and two presses. That leaves 2 kW of rated headroom at peak, not a guarantee of sufficient power throughout a day. The factory calculator can explore a simple sunlight percentage but does not model battery charging.
Compare peak generation and machine demand
One tracker’s 16 kW peak is above the pressure chamber’s 10 kW running rating but below the stone press’s 18 kW rating. Two trackers total 32 kW peak, which exceeds the 28 kW combined rating of one chamber and one press on paper.
This comparison does not model sunlight over time, batteries, placement or grid behavior. Use the factory calculator to compare a chosen sunlight assumption and test the connected machines in game.
If it isn’t working
- Actual output varies with the sun and game conditions.
Frequently asked questions
How many solar trackers are needed for a chamber and two presses?
Their 46 kW running rating is below three trackers’ combined 48 kW peak. Real output and grid connections must still be checked in-game.
Does the Solar tracker always supply 16 kW?
No. The extracted 16 kW figure is a peak rating. Actual generation depends on sun and game conditions.
