01 / OVERVIEW

How it works

The serialized ports identify one IN and two outputs, OUT_A and OUT_B.

CONVEYOR CONNECTIONS

Named ports

These labels come from the serialized build definition. Verify orientation after placing the machine in-game.

How to recognize the splitter ports

The analyzed build definition has one IN and two outputs, OUT_A and OUT_B. It can therefore be used as a branching point in a route; the exact distribution and timing under load have not been measured.

When one branch stops, inspect both destination paths and the source. A blocked output or an empty source can appear similar when observing only the junction. The reference model does not simulate splitter fairness or traffic priority.

Plan two downstream branches

The recovered labels are IN, OUT_A and OUT_B. Follow each output to its receiving machine and verify the material required at that destination. For example, a stone press has separately named dust and sand inputs, so a moving capsule alone does not prove that the correct input is supplied.

A port list does not establish a 50/50 distribution or behavior when one branch fills. Test a small junction in your own game before assuming a particular split.

FIELD CHECK

If it isn’t working

  • Check both downstream paths for a blockage. The actual split behavior has not been tested in this build.

Frequently asked questions

Does the splitter divide material evenly?

The static port list confirms one input and two outputs, but it does not establish a measured split ratio under real play conditions.

How much does a splitter cost?

The analyzed structure definition lists a $5 base price. Placement and actual build-menu behavior need in-game confirmation.
